Webinar for new MRV Maritime Regulation ships

From 1 January 2025, general cargo ships above 400 GT transporting cargo for commercial purposes and offshore ships above 400 GT travelling to, from or is staying within ports of call in the EEA, will be covered by the EU Regulation on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of maritime transport emissions (the MRV Regulation).

The webinar will provide information on the following

• Ships covered by the MRV Regulation
• The obligations for shipping companies covered by the MRV Regulation
• Requirements for the monitoring plan
• Reporting emissions

Additional webinar

We  plan to hold an additional webinar on reporting emissions and surrendering allowances for shipping companies that are also covered by the EU ETS. This webinar will be held in February/March, but the final date is yet to be announced.
